Our Spark group has made Urban Saints news!  Have a look at the article on Urban Saints website.

Spark is the name chosen by the group members and stands for “Spectacular Ark of Blessings and Fun”. The group meets on the first Sunday of each month at Holy Trinity, led by Jo Birkby and David and Ruth Cartledge.  The sessions begin at 9.10am with a continental-type breakfast in the meeting room at Holy Trinity then head into church for worship before heading back to the meeting room for some games and activities.

The vision for the group is to provide a slightly ‘older’ style of Sunday group where we can explore the bible, discuss questions about faith and develop friendships within the group and also provide a ‘bridge’ into the youth programme.  Currently the group is following the “Storyline” course from Urban Saints which aims to engage with God’s “Big Story” as revealed in the bible. The course runs for 12 sessions exploring the Bible from creation onwards and hopefully putting into place all the bible stories that the young people have learnt over the years in Ju:C.
