Welcome

There are a variety of opportunities for those of a more senior age to get together for fun and fellowship.

We have the ever-growing Silver Stars at Holy Trinity, the perennial favourite Holiday At Home trips and activities; not forgetting the cross-generational Monday Craft at Holy Trinity and the fulfilling Lunch Bunch at St Saviour's.

Do come and join us!  And if you'd like to offer your time and your experience to any of the groups you would be a huge asset.

Silver Stars

Silver Stars meets from 2-3:30pm in Holy Trinity on the second and fourth Monday every month. There is a variety of activities and speakers with occasional teas and services too.

If you'd like more infomation, please contact Dee Roberts on 01483 475356.

A weekly charge of £1 per person is made to cover refreshments and speakers' expenses.

Monday Craft

Stick or stitch, knit or crochet, draw or doodle at an evening of creativity and chat.

Bring your own project and materials for a great opportunity to learn new skills from each other.

For more information please contact Dee Roberts.  Details via the Church Office.

Lunch with Friends

Lunch with Friends is held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 12-2pm in St Saviour's Church where you can meet and lunch with others from our community.  The lunches will vary depending upon the season eg soup, roll and a dessert in the winter and something lighter in the summer.

There is a suggested donation of £4 per lunch to cover food costs.  Any excess monies will be donated to a charity of the group's choosing.

For more information, please contact Rev Julie Levett 01483 850623.

Holiday at Home

Holiday at Home is for older people, many of whom do not get the chance to enjoy holiday activities.  You are welcome to join us whatever your mobility.

Events include trips to stately homes, animal parks, and local holiday destinations. In addition, we have our annual Holiday At Home Day

with  crafts, a speaker and lunch in Holy Trinity Church Hall, followed by an afternoon outing.

If you are over 60 and would like to join in these events, please contact Bob and Pauline Bailey on 01483 824006.
